Community Development
The Chogoria Centennial Foundation originated from a deep commitment to preserve and celebrate the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the Chogoria community. Its roots trace back to the acclaimed preservation and renovation of the old PCEA Chogoria Church, a project that became a symbol of community unity and historical reverence
Heritage Preservation
As the church’s restoration progressed, the community’s enthusiasm culminated in the inclusion of this project among the centennial celebrations of Chogoria. This milestone provided a platform to rally collective support and broaden awareness about the importance of cultural heritage preservation
Fundraising Events
This endurance cycling event galvanized community members and supporters beyond the region, successfully raising the necessary funds for the church restoration. The Bikathon not only provided financial support but also fostered a spirit of camaraderie and proactive engagement within the community.
